The three plans
| Plan | Month-to-month | Billed annually | What it is for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Growth | $1,999/month | $1,499/month | The core marketing set for an established trade working one main market |
| Elite | $3,999/month | $2,999/month | More channels and more markets at once; Trades.Agency website design packages at half price |
| Enterprise | $7,999/month | $5,999/month | For multi-crew Manitoba operations: a dedicated team, priority support, and any website package designed and built at no charge |
Google ad spend is separate from these prices and is paid to Google. We recommend a budget based on your job values and towns, and you approve it.
Which plan fits a Manitoba trade
The right plan depends less on the size of your business than on how many markets you are trying to win at once.
Growth: one main market
Growth suits a trade that mostly works in one market: a part of Winnipeg, or one regional centre and the towns around it. The usual focus is local search, a review routine and, where the numbers support it, a modest ad campaign. A Portage la Prairie plumber or a Selkirk electrician often starts here.
Elite: several towns or several channels
Elite suits a trade working across several markets, such as Winnipeg plus two or three surrounding municipalities, or Brandon plus a set of Westman towns. It also suits businesses that want ads, reviews, local search and a referral relationship system all running together. If your website needs rebuilding, the 50% discount on Trades.Agency website design packages matters.
Enterprise: a multi-crew operation
Enterprise suits larger trades with several crews or divisions, multiple Manitoba markets and a need for a dedicated team. It includes a free website design and build in any package.
What drives your cost beyond the plan
Your total marketing cost has two parts: our plan, and anything paid to third parties. In Manitoba, the main variables are:
- Ad spend. Winnipeg searches cost more and are more numerous than searches in regional centres. A Thompson trade may need a much smaller ad budget than a Winnipeg one.
- Number of markets. Every town or community area you want to win needs its own page, its own ad location and its own reviews.
- Your season. Heating trades usually spend more in late fall and winter; outdoor trades in late winter and spring.
- Your website. If your current site can't take calls and texts cleanly on a phone, fixing it may be the first investment.
Everything outside the plan price is written into your proposal before you sign.
A worked example: does the Growth plan pay?
Say you run a heating company in Brandon. Your average job, across service calls and replacements, brings in $1,200 of gross profit.
- Growth plan on annual billing: $1,499 per month, plus GST
- Suggested ad budget: $1,000 per month
- Total monthly cost: about $2,500 before tax
To cover that, you need about two extra jobs a month from the marketing ($2,500 ÷ $1,200 ≈ 2.1). Anything beyond that is profit. If you can't see a realistic path to two or three extra jobs a month, the plan isn't right for you yet, and we'll say so in the consultation. Run this sum with your own gross profit per job.
How to choose
- Count the markets you want to win this year.
- Work out your gross profit per average job.
- Decide how many extra jobs per month would make the plan worthwhile.
- Book the free consultation with those three numbers ready.

Frequently asked questions
Is Google ad spend included in the plan price?
No. Ad spend is paid to Google separately and is set with you based on your job values and towns. Your proposal shows our fee and the suggested ad budget as separate lines.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. Plans are month-to-month with 30 days' notice to cancel. Annual billing costs less per month in exchange for the annual commitment.
Do Manitoba clients pay GST?
Yes. Manitoba clients add 5% GST to the prices shown, plus provincial sales tax only where it applies to the service. Your proposal and invoices set out the taxes that apply to your business.
Are there any other fees?
Anything beyond the plan price, such as ad spend or a separately quoted website project, is set out in writing in your proposal before you sign.
What happens in the free consultation?
A 30-minute conversation for eligible trades businesses about your numbers, your towns and what you'd do first. It is separate from the paid plans, and there is no obligation.
