Manitoba.Network is a marketing and business consulting service for trades and home-service businesses in Manitoba. We plan and run local search, Google Ads, review routines and referral systems, and we advise owners on service areas, pricing and growth. We are not a contractor. We don't install, repair or service anything, and we will never compete with a client for a job.
The company behind the name
Manitoba.Network belongs to the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies. It is a Canadian group with its head office in Vancouver, British Columbia, working with clients from coast to coast, Manitoba included.
- Sedighi.ca is Ali Sedighi's growth, marketing and technology consulting company, and the umbrella for brands such as Trades.Agency, HVAC.Agency, HVAC.Digital, Conv.ca and BusinessConsulting.ca.
- SAZ.ca, short for Strategy & Acceleration Zone, is where Ali, as Founder & Managing Partner, runs the group's AI, strategy and revenue-acceleration consulting.
Our parent brand for trades marketing is Trades.Agency. Manitoba.Network exists because a Manitoba trade needs a plan built for Manitoba: one dominant city, a set of regional centres with wide trading areas, a long heating season and a short building one.
Ali Sedighi, MBA
Ali Sedighi leads Manitoba.Network and its strategy work.
- He holds an MBA in Technology Management.
- His 17+ years in digital marketing go back to 2007, the year he set up ONE.ir, a full-service digital marketing agency.
- His portfolio counts 150+ live HVAC websites; GasBoilers.ca, BCWide.ca, RomaHeating.ca and CombiBoiler.ca are four of them.
- Other companies he started include Conv.ca, which does conversion-rate optimisation, and MyAutomation.ca.
- He has worked with clients in Canada, the USA and Dubai, and lives and works in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Ali's background is mostly in heating and HVAC, which is a useful starting point for Manitoba: few markets in Canada depend on winter as heavily. The methods carry across to plumbing, electrical, roofing and other trades, and we say clearly when a result comes from our HVAC work rather than from your trade. You can read his profile on Sedighi.ca.
How we work
We keep the process simple and in writing.
- We start with your numbers. Average job value, close rate, busy and slow months, and where your work comes from today. Without those, any plan is a guess.
- We map your real service area. Which towns you'll drive to in January, which Winnipeg community areas you want more of, and which you'd rather not serve.
- We put the plan and the costs in writing. What we'll do, in what order, what it costs, and what each part should return.
- We report on jobs, not vanity numbers. Calls, booked jobs, reviews, referral sources and cost per booked job, by town.
- You own everything. Your Google profile, website, ad accounts and data stay in your business's name.
Consultations are available in person or by video call, and the rest runs by phone, text, email and screen share. The work happens in your Google profile, your website and your phone records, not in a meeting room.
What we believe about Manitoba trades marketing
- Reputation is the asset. In a town like Winkler or Steinbach, your name is known before anyone searches. Online marketing should confirm it, not replace it.
- Budgets should follow the map. A province-wide campaign spends most of its money in Winnipeg. Split by town, or don't spend.
- Referrals are a channel. If builders and property managers send you a third of your work, they deserve as much attention as Google.
- Honesty is cheaper. No fake reviews, no invented addresses, no promises of ranking. They all get found out, and in a small town they get found out fast.
What we won't do
We won't promise rankings or a set number of leads. We won't post reviews on your behalf. We won't create profiles at addresses you don't operate from. We won't give you compliance, licensing or code advice; for that, we point you to bodies such as the Office of the Fire Commissioner and Apprenticeship Manitoba.
To see what our methods have produced, read the results page. For plans and costs, see pricing. To talk, see the contact page or our services.
Frequently asked questions
Who owns Manitoba.Network?
Manitoba.Network is a brand of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, a Canadian group headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. It is led by Ali Sedighi, MBA.
Why would a Vancouver-based company market Manitoba trades?
Because the work lives in places that travel well: Google profiles, websites, ads, review routines and referral tracking. What matters is understanding the Manitoba market, which is why every plan starts from your towns, your seasons and your job history.
Is Manitoba.Network a contractor or a trades directory?
Neither. We are not a contractor and don't install, repair or service anything. We don't list member firms or sell leads. We market and advise individual trades businesses under their own names.
Who will I actually work with?
Ali Sedighi leads the strategy work, and your first conversation is with a senior strategist. Consultations run in person or by video call, and day-to-day contact is by phone, text and email.
